Yugo Nakamura

I just passed my Advanced Logic performance evaluation. Woohoo! Now, time to catch up on the notes I made in this month’s issue of Monocle. A mention of Yugo Nakamura caught my eye. From the Monocle feature:

“Artist, designer and computer whiz, Nakamura of Tokyo-based THA, is widely recognized as one of Japan’s pioneering web and digital graphic designers… Many of his online creations respond and morph in ways that resemble video games and are programmed to tap user generated content.”

This website pretty much sums up why I find his designs so appealing, and it’s from over six years ago. I only wish there was slightly more variation to the audio click track that plays when the site opens.
